Empowering Urban Youth Through Literacy, Culture & Creative Expression

📚 Second Saturday | 1 PM - 4 PM

Our Mission

The Readin' & Arts Program is a culturally empowering initiative designed to support Urban children from Pre-K to 12th grade in strengthening their reading skills, boosting comprehension, and building confidence in literacy. Held on the second Saturday from 1 PM to 4 PM, the program offers a nurturing, joyful environment that centers on Black excellence and celebrates the power of storytelling.

Through small group reading circles, guided literacy games, and affirming one-on-one support, students are encouraged to see themselves as strong, capable readers. The program is dedicated to closing literacy gaps while fostering a lifelong love of reading.
